Do not wear shoes or socks for at least 12 hours after a pedicure. Even if its the dead of winter, do not take the risk of fibers or smudges...its just not worth it.
Lord, when I used to get my nails done, it was like they had a magnetic attraction to things that would smudge them. One time I didn't even make it out of the parking lot! Guess I just wasn't meant to be glamorous. :-)

worse yet, wearing clogs following a pedicure.
